Two things I’ve learned to really like in working at the government are going to places alien to me and meeting people of different social statuses.
Today, we went to a birthday party.
I didn’t know who was the birthday celebrator.
I didn’t know where’s the place. I didn’t know why we had to go there.
But it was epic–the most ‘sosyal’ and the most innovative birthday party I have ever attended to. Seeing how lightsomely the yellow-orange-black balloons dance with the 20th century sounds, photobooth stood outside and the crazy variations of mousse and pasta dishes, and the guests in casual clothing, you would never thought that it’s a party for a 70-year old contractor. Wish I had some take out and wish come true, got a seedless ponkan to take home and a fat apple to ease the stuffy day.
